MAPS- RICE
The Rice Tree is located off of Matthews Street in Gardner. It is on an old cart path, 50 paces off the road. When we went to the tree in September 2025, the tree was in severe decay and most of the bark had fallen off of the tree. We expect the tree will fall within a year, so we removed the Rice "coat of arms" in as few pieces as possible and my brother, Kevin, took them with him.
