CEMETERY PLOTS- KELLY
St. John's Cemetery, Gardner, MA
John B. Kelley- Story to this one goes that John B. Kelly would cuss out the mailman if he had the nerve to deliver ANY mail to his house to the family name of KELLEY. There was no second "E" in John B. Kelly's last name and he would refuse any and ALL mail addressed that way. Imagine my laughter when I requested this copy of the cemetery plot information and found it spelled with the second "e"! They did make the correction, but I kept the original that they gave me! Dad told me that "the old man must have been spinning in his grave for the past 50 years over that!"
